At Unistone, we are proud to contribute to infrastructure projects that represent both cultural heritage and modern functionality. One such significant ongoing project is the Maharana Pratap Airport – Udaipur, Rajasthan, where we are executing customised GRC Jalis.
About the Project
The Maharana Pratap Airport is undergoing development to meet the increasing needs of both domestic and international travellers. Being located in the heritage city of Udaipur, the architectural vision for this airport emphasises a design that reflects the rich cultural traditions of Rajasthan while aligning with modern infrastructure standards. To achieve this, Unistone is delivering GRC Jalis that combine durability, utility, and elegance.
Our Contribution – GRC Jalis
We design and manufacture bespoke GRC Jalis for airport façades and architectural detailing. These elements serve multiple purposes:
- Aesthetic Appeal: Inspired by traditional patterns, the Jalis enhance the cultural identity of the airport.
 - Ventilation & Daylight: Allowing controlled airflow and natural light within the structure.
 - Durability: GRC ensures resilience against Udaipur’s climate, delivering long-lasting performance.
 - Customisation: Each Jali is tailored to fit the airport’s design theme, ensuring harmony between tradition and modernity.

Why GRC Jalis for Maharana Pratap Airport?
Airports require materials that are lightweight, strong, and versatile. GRC Jalis meet these requirements while adding architectural character. Their use at Maharana Pratap Airport ensures a design that celebrates Rajasthan’s heritage while providing functionality suited to modern air travel infrastructure.
Unistone’s Promise
With our expertise in customised GRC Jalis, Unistone is contributing to the creation of an airport that will stand as both a gateway to Rajasthan’s culture and a symbol of modern connectivity.
This project is currently in execution, and we will share more updates as it progresses.
