At Unistone, we take pride in contributing to projects that shape the nation’s infrastructure with innovation and design excellence. One such ongoing project is the Jodhpur Airport – Jodhpur, Rajasthan, where we are executing specialised GRC Panel, GRC Jalis, and GRC Columns.
About the Project
The expansion and modernisation of Jodhpur Airport aim to elevate passenger experience while maintaining the cultural and architectural heritage of Rajasthan. The design concept required structural elements that are not only durable but also visually significant, reflecting the identity of the region. To meet this requirement, Unistone is delivering customised GRC solutions in the form of Panels, Jalis and Columns.
Our Contribution – GRC Jali, Panels & Columns
We are manufacturing and supplying bespoke GRC elements that combine beauty and function, including:
- GRC Jalis: Adding intricate façade detailing while ensuring ventilation and controlled natural light.
- GRC Columns: Strong, elegant, and customised to match the architectural theme of the airport.
- Durability & Performance: Designed to withstand climatic variations and heavy usage in a high-traffic public space.
- Cultural Expression: The patterns and forms take inspiration from regional artistry, blending heritage with modernity.
Why GRC for Jodhpur Airport?
Airports demand architectural elements that are lightweight, strong, and aesthetically appealing. By integrating GRC Panel, Jalis and Columns, the airport achieves a unique identity that balances functionality with timeless design. These elements highlight Rajasthan’s architectural traditions while supporting the modern infrastructure needs of an international-standard airport.
Unistone’s Promise
Our work at Jodhpur Airport reinforces our expertise in delivering custom GRC solutions that define both public and private landmarks. With Panels, Jalis and Columns, we are helping create a gateway that not only serves travellers but also celebrates the cultural essence of Rajasthan.
This project is currently in execution, and we will share more updates as it progresses.
